Hi yogis! I am Audrée Laferrière, owner of the Idolem studio in Sainte-Dorothée!
My career started with the Bachelor of Accounting at HEC Montréal in 2011. Having an entrepreneurial side, I participated in several competitions and events that allowed me to develop several complementary areas of expertise. It was through various energizing trips, especially to Costa Rica, that I developed a passion for yoga. Yoga is central to my daily life and helps keep me focused in my career and professional life. I have a professional background in financing and commercial restructuring. My wealth of professional experiences made me want to take part in the economic development of Laval on a personal basis and to open an Idolem studio there.
Indeed, I wanted to create a yoga studio where people come not only to practice yoga, but also to feel in community, to feel good, to exchange in harmony. I want people to feel the same way I did during group classes; a family moment where everyone takes care of each other.
I want to make a real difference in my community. Being passionate about physical and psychological well-being as well as personal development, I wanted to find a project that would offer me a related lifestyle and allow me to help people in my community live a more balanced life. Idolem and I are a perfect match! One thing I can always rely on in my life is yoga. Come and visit this place of well-being that I am building in this studio, I am there for you.
