In exchange for the payment of the subscription and immediately after the signing of this contract, the merchant undertakes to allow the subscriber to attend all scheduled courses, in a normal and safe manner.
1. The subscriber declares to be physically able to undertake physical training. He or she should consult his or her doctor on his or her own before beginning to participate in courses.1. 2. The subscriber acknowledges that there are some risks associated with participating in these physical and training activities. It is appropriate to release the merchant and his representatives from any cause of action that may result from his negligence or that of his guests.
3. This subscription cannot be shared or transferred in part. However, it can be transferred for a fee of $50 for transfer and management. If a person uses a subscription that is not in their name, a penalty of 3 courses or 2 weeks will be taken from their account.
4. Opening hours and class schedules are subject to change, with notice posted in the studios and on the website. In summer, business hours and the number of courses may be reduced.
5. The use of a towel on rental rugs is mandatory.
6. Bookings guarantee a place in the course. Thereafter, the other available seats operate on a first-come, first-served basis.
7. The subscriber can use their subscription in all IDOLEM centers. No compensation is provided in the event of the closure of an IDOLEM center, except by the center from which the subscription was paid. Some exceptions may apply.
8. Out of respect for practice and the people present, it is not possible to enter a course once it has started. However, late students may be credited for their course if it has already begun (some studios may have a different policy, please refer to your branch for more details).
9. If the student does not show up for a booked class, this course will be debited from his account.
10. In the event of a returned check or a disputed credit card payment, a fee of $35 must be paid to the merchant to cover bank fees.
11. For credit card payments, if the amount could not be collected by the scheduled date, we will attempt again every week until the full amount is paid, including refusal fees. The fee is $10 each. We will contact the customer to let them know.
12. By signing, I confirm that my intentions are exclusively to practice this sport. I am aware that any partial or total reproduction of the IDOLEM program or any job offer made to our professors for competitive purposes constitutes a fraud subject to legal proceedings.
13. If a subscription was purchased at a discount, it will not be refundable or creditable under any circumstances. It can only be transferred at a cost of $50 plus tax.
The consumer may terminate this contract without charge or penalty before the merchant has begun to perform his main obligation, by sending the attached form or any other written notice to the merchant.
If the merchant has begun to perform his main obligation, the consumer may cancel the contract within a period equal to 1/10 of the term provided for in the contract, by sending the attached form or any other written notice. This period starts when the merchant begins to perform his main obligation. In this case, the merchant may not require more than the payment of 1/10 of the total price provided for in the contract from the consumer.
The contract is cancelled, without further formality, as soon as the form or notice is sent. Within 10 days following the cancellation, the merchant must return to the consumer any sum owed. The consumer would benefit from consulting sections 197 to 205 of the Consumer Protection Act (L.R.Q., c. P-40.1) and, if necessary, contacting the Office de la protection du Consommation.
